The Revenant confirmed for Queen Elizabeth II Stakes

Francis-Henri Graffard has Supported The Revenant on course for a tilt at the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on Saturday week.

Trained from Hugo Palmer, Dubawis son has won eight of his 10 starts – producing a career-best functionality when running out a hugely impressive winner of the Group 2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein at ParisLongchamp in the weekend.
Graffard believes his bill has earned a step up to the highest degree and would love testing requirements to predominate British Champions Day.
I was really happy with him on Saturday – we couldnt have wished for a better result, said the French handler.
The feeling he was giving me in the evenings was that hes still improving his jockey (Pierre-Charles Boudot) got the identical feeling from the afternoon.
If the road to Ascot is eloquent, then hell be there. The softer the ground the better for him.
Graffard is under no illusions about the task awaiting his bill October 19, with Saeed bin Suroors Benbatl along with the Aidan OBrien-trained Circus Maximus one of his rivals.
He added:We could go to Ascot with a lot of humility since its a Group One race and theyre always very demanding, but I think he deserves to be there.
We understand he enjoys soft ground – we know he could swim! If the ground is soft at Ascot that would fit him better than some of his rivals.
Graffard shown plans are up in the atmosphere because of his Royal Ascot heroine Watch Me.
The Glory filly was a surprise winner of the Coronation Stakes in June, but has established that effort was no fluke – ending a fine fourth in the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville in August.
She ran a very good race on Sunday and shes currently return to her owners for a rest, explained Graffard.
Theyll pick at a later date if shell come back next year or be retired. She is definitely completed for this season.
