Rugby World Cup: South Africa lock Eben Etzebeth accused of racial abuse

South Africas Eben Etzebeth will face Italy at the World Cup despite being accused of racial and physical abuse.
The lock, 27, faces legal proceeding over allegations and a guy in a restaurant in Langebaan at August.
The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) will approach that the Equality Court on Friday to request it to listen to exactly what amounts to a civil situation.
Etzebeth stays together with the South Africa squad and has denied any wrongdoing.
Following the incident, Etzebeth explained:It is totally untrue and unfounded to claim I racially abused anyone in Langebaan. Several witnesses can corroborate that.
South African Rugby stated on Thursday its dedication as agood corporate citizen would see that it stick by the jurisdiction of the Equality Court and also confirmed it had started ainternal process within the situation.
