Mario Ledesma discusses Argentina future after Rugby World Cup exit

Argentina coach Mario Ledesma signaled hed love to remain in charge of the national team because he reflected to a disappointing World Cup campaign.
The Pumas failed to leave it from their pool for the very first time since 2003, dropping out in Pool C to England and France, nevertheless ended their championship with a victory over the USA in Kumagaya on Wednesday.
The outcome ensured Argentinas eligibility for its 2023 World Cup but that was of little consolation to the 2015 semi-finalists.
Asked about his future, Ledesma stated:Lots of critics I confronted but it is actually important to have a good outlook in our future.
Weve just played our game , we had a red card at the England match, thus we will need to look back on several things. We can not just look in 1 way.
As coach I work on strategies and ability, control participant emotions and have cohesion in the team and bring in other forces from external too.
We have to consider each stage, therefore we will need to go out of our nation and perform many games to enhance and to view other sports to learn from these .
Ledesma insisted qualification for another edition of this tournament hadnt been a motivation.
Motivation comes from within us, he explained. We have worked hard for the previous week and prepared in the past week.
You will find young players playing and there may be some players not in the next World Cup, so it is their last game and theyre not worried about eligibility to the World Cup in France.
US coach Gary Gold believes his side have significantly improved despite bottom of Pool C without any points over the duration of the competition.
I am just disappointed at the result but really proud of the effort in the men, he said. I think even the biggest cynic could determine how hard the men tried and how hard they worked.
We had an unbelievable opportunity to take advantage of this scoreboard and we did not, regrettably, dent at that moment in time. Thats how rugby functions. Its a game of momentum.
I feel that will include the longer time we spend together and the more time we perform together. I really do believe we have improved match on game.
